the heat is on!
I understand I live in TX. the heat has already limited me going outside. I do have a cool vest I plan to try it this summer do not expect a big change. I love being outside as of now I try to be inside by ten in the morning, even then some mornings hard to make it inside, no trips to the though.
I get what you are saying about the heat, I live about 20 minutes north of Austin, Tx and itβs been getting more hot here every day! π
On Amazon here in the U.K., you can buy a pack of neck wraps that you put in the freezer, then you wear them around your neck, quite refreshing, but 103*, itβs only the end of May! π
Ugh! Hot! βπPam, Greaterexperience sews the cutest cooling neck wraps, I got 1 from her, wrks. Awezome too. You might want to pm her.ππshe's a sweety.ππ»πΊπΌππβπ
I know what you mean! I'm in NC and it's been 96 for the past
3 days. I put an ice pack under my hat, helps a bit.
I use frogg toggs in my hat and send my neck. They are light weight and can be wet in cool water. My daughter saw then at Disney world. I like them much better than the neck wraps that are full of beads.

I truly understand. I have a hard time in heat also. Make sure your hair is up.
Best Wishes,

Frog togs are good. You can wet them and freeze them. They keep cool for a while and are light weight. Good for outside and sports. Sell for pretty cheap online and in stores. πβ€π·

Wow,that's hot!
We get hot and humid weather here but not usually those temps.
If I have to be outside, I try to get things done before noon.
Outdoor events,I will take a wheelchair if there is a lot of walking involved.
That chair has helped a great deal and has saved me from being wiped out at the end of the day on more than one occasion.
Events held on lawns is why I am looking into rollators that will roll well over grass, etc. If I do find one, then I might get a cooling towel or something like that.
