Today is my 2 year anniversary of my first major exacerbation. 5 days in hospital with steroids and 3 MRIs and a spinal tap after which I was diagnosed with MS and my life was changed big time.
But after a few days of crying and mopping around I pull up my big boy underwear and life went on. Not as fast as it used to be but it goes on. Rest more often but I don’t need to be in any hurry anyway. I’m to old to be in a hurry.😂😅🤣.’
Well that’s enough of my story so everyone have a wonderful day.

Sorry for this anniversary but I have enjoyed chatting with you and knowing that you are doing life the best way you can. (Does that sound right? 😜🤪 Hopefully you know what I mean.
Landmarks may not always be something to celebrate in many ways, but it was good to know what was going on with you. You've learned how to cope with it all, and that's a very good thing. So congratulations on that!
Great attitude Doubled51 !! We learn to accept what we can't change & make the best of it. I just recently found out my friend's husband has Parkinson's disease, she is now his full time caregiver. My heart goes out to them. I'm glad if I have to have a disease, I'll accept MS.
So sad that disease. I’m just glad I was 65 before I got MS. So many of our members are young. My heart goes out to you young folks with this crazy journey.
@Double51 Just gotta say, you just made my day! I was 68when I went numb & DX 6 months later as probable MS. Close to 71 now. Yes, once I started accepting MS, I am glad that I got to do everything I did before MS. Life is still good, just different. 😊👍
Doubled51 Ah Donnie, that's how we all get through each day, isn't it. You pull up your big boy pants, I pull up my striped Mammy Yokum socks, and Sue stops by a garden shop for pansies. I wish you nothing but clear skies and good days ahead!
