“Some say MS doesn’t define who we are. I say MS should define us in a way nothing else can. A person with MS is a person with strength, courage, and hope. A MS patient is a fighter and a person who never gives up. A MS patient has the patience to wait, and listen, the. Do what is best for the individual body. Yes, MS define’s us because it brings out the best in us, the gratitude, the humor, the enjoying one day at a time. Sometimes, MS will even bring out the better parts of us.”
We can always find something to be thankful for no matter what comes our way. Last night I didn’t sleep a wink- total insomnia, but you know what? That gave me the opportunity to watch the sunrise over the hillside.

MS saved my life. Forced me to set down and take inventory of what I was, which made me see clearer what I am now. I would have been killed or in jail almost certainly. I would have never spent enough time to learn GOD, my real self or my wife. I hate ms, but I also thank ms. Ms saved my wife.
Very positive post. I still haven't fully accepted my disability but it is definitely defining who I am.
Simple task are hard to do and I continue to do them. Stronger than what I thought I could be. Then take a nap. Screws up your day but that is what it is.
