Someone recently asked about a lap support for her mother's books to enable her to read easily without tiring her arms. I found a folding lap table, at a consignment shop, (which I grabbed up), that has legs that are loose and adjust to the body size and chair's width. It is approx. 24" wide x 12" deep, and the top tilts from flat to 75 degree angle. It is wonderful! Found it on Amazon - Adult Lap Tables - Winsome Wood #98821 Stockton Bed Tray, $17.75. I love mine! Everybody needs one! Love you all! Have a blessed day!

Lap table
Thank you so much for remembering my question. I'll take a look!
Sounds a useful object, I think I will check it out. 🦋
Thank you! It looks great.
Thanks for great info! Kelly
Thanks for this information! I love hearing little tips that might help all of us.
@4fishylady, for years I've had this problem. A lap table with a beanbag-type base worked for quite a few years but later I "graduated" to a rolling table that adjusts and tilts. It slides under the bed or under many other pieces of furniture. Unfortunately it doesn't roll under my wheelchair very well unless I swing the legrests out of the way. But there are many different types of rolling table out there on the market. You might want to take a look at some of them. They're pricey but worth it, IMO.
Thanks for the info!
