It's just the little homely things,
the unobtrusive, friendly things
that make our pathway light-
And it's just the jolly, joking things,
the never mind the trouble things,
the laugh with me it's funny things
that make the world seem bright.
So here's to all the simple things,
the dear'All in a day's work' things.
Trust God to put them all right!
The 'done and then forgotten' things,
the 'can't you see I love you?' things
That make life worth the fight.

A Shave Funny from mikeys
An old cowboy walks into a barbershop
for a shve and a haircut.
He tells the barber he can't get all his whiskers
off because his cheeks are wrinkled from old age.
The barber gets a little wooden ball from a cup
on the shelf and tells the old cowboy to put it
inside his cheek to spread out the skin.
When he's all finished the old cowboy tells the
barber that was the cleanest shave he'd had in
years, but he wanted to know what would have
happened if he'd accidently swallowed that little
ball? The barber replied "just bring it back in a couple
of days like every one else does".
