I have had the exact same insurance for the past 4 years. I was prescribed Nuedexta in 2016. I have been without my 2 x a day PBA meditation since January 3. Why do I have to wait for the insurance company to contact my Dr. to obtain information that they already know? How can they still not approve it after I answered a patient questionnaire that they sent to my Dr?

When I had Blue Cross they use to do that with one of the meds I use to be on. I would always just call my doctors office so they could contact the insurance first because the insurance would take forever. I hope it all gets straighten out quickly. ❤🌷
I’m sorry about the run around. It is frustrating. I’m going through the same thing with getting my Copaxone again since a change of insurance.
I hope it gets resolved for you quickly.
Insurance companies can be a pain call your doctor may be they can help move them along faster. Good luck
insurance companies just like to play these games. There should be legislation but you they will fight that
TracyBelle insurance companies/big pharma/government are all in this mix to help with the 'top-notch' healthcare of everyone in this country. Yet, we all are stuck with higher costs, poorer access, and slower responses. I hope that your issue gets resolved quickly, and in the meantime, be 'patient'.
Today the Insurance co said that the PA was declined again. They said ask your Dr to initiate a peer review. The Dr office said that they no longer do peer reviews. I am so close to giving up- why do I even bother?
