There truly is one thing I miss about Christmas not having Little ones running in to the living room early in the morning and hearing the squeals of joy. And that all I hear is the creeks of old age LOL and I try to drowned it out with Christmas carols From the radio LOL

I get it. My daughter and her husband are sending in their paperwork to start adoption going next May. Perhaps next Christmas it will be better for us. It's pointless to decorate for us, so we don't!

Yes I remember the little ones & once I fell asleep on the couch & little voices whispering then a little finger pushing up my eyelid asking "are you in there?"

My younger son by eight years did that to his older brother and send can we go open the presents the kicker was that the younger one had to pass the Christmas tree to ask that question. But I found out that the older one would’ wake up so the younger one sobered on the older brother. Well that woke everyone up guess what we woke up and the day began. Somethings you just don’t forget.
