MRI done

Finally had my mri today. Took a little longer cause the computer was having trouble after the scan of my head and in the middle of my neck. So I had to lay in the tube while the fixed it. It was fine the Whole mri either played games in my head, talked to my mom an dad who are gone. Near the end I was singing theme songs in my head. From golden girls to gilligan. I need yo start listening to more because I can only remember bits and pieces of all the ones I sang.

That’s good, I need to try that when I go for my mri in December.

I'm wondered what others did to pass the time, I do the same as you. It's my time to do some Mental filing and thunk I'm zapping all of my lesions away!

I started doing one thing then I’d be thinking another then another. It was crazy. Never finished a topic of mental game.

I see the neurologist in the 29th. I will get the result before because they’ll have them in my patient portal. I won’t kbow everything it says but I’ll understand enough to know if new active lesions are present

Smartcloud1981 Glad you got the MRI done, but even more glad to hear of your strategy for overcoming the noise and need to lie still! In one place where I had MRIs done, they gave me a choice of music that was piped in. That was lovely; you could have chosen thee music from television shows!

Smartcloud1981, I am glad you were not claustrophobic! I once had an MRI done and don't you know the silly machine was knocked offline by a thunderstorm that was passing through the area at the time I was in the tube. I laid in that stupid MRI for over an hour and a half and it wasn't bothering me, I I took some naps Etc but finally I had to use the restroom. I had to buzz the powers to be to let me out! I didn't know how long I've been in there but I knew it was a while. When I got out and saw that it was an hour and a half it totally amazed me that they never thought to check on me. I guess they thought no news was good news! But good Lord, I could have died and they never would have known! It was very lucky that I am not claustrophobic either. I simply thought they handled the entire experience incredibly wrong and totally careless. I've never gone back to that MRI facility! Here's to Us and all the non claustrophobic people in the world! LOL! Fancy.

Defiantly a good thing you weren’t. I couldn’t imagine waiting that Long. They checked on me twice and let me know what was going on.

That's sounds like me when I have an MRI I do the Oscar Myer Wiener song in my head, I have to do 1 on Fri 11/23.

oh last 1 I had they had some sort of goggles that I watched TV on. Really cool

I used to teach the 4 & 5 year old's bible school so I do all the songs I use to teach them.
