This is a drug recently in phase III clinical trials where it showed great promise for SPMS. I can't find whether or not it is available to the public. Has anyone here ever heard of it or know anything about it? It sure sounds good. I might be too old for it but there's a whole community of SPMSers who could benefit. Appreciate your feedback, thanks!

I think it has not yet been approved. Here is a little something about it, but I can't seem to find anything which estimates a release date.

Thanks! It sounds wonderful, especially since there's nothing on the market now. I don't think it's available either. Something to look forward to.

Ikeeptrying, it's Fancy1959. I have not heard of it but if what you say proves to be true I'm very excited about it just like yourself. As I am also secondary progressive MS. Don't give up on yourself because it's never too late to stop disability progression and you're never too old either to do so. DMT are our Lifeline to keep are disability under control. Don't give up on them no matter how old you are! I'm 59 and I plan on staying on them until they ether find The Cure or I die! Whichever comes first! 🤗😁💕

Thanks Fancy, what DMT are you on? I've never been offered one and I thought now that I'm SPMS there's nothing available. I asked my neuro if he thought I'd be in a wheelchair and he kind of hemmed and hawed and said something to the effect that I'll die first. Which, all things considered, was a good answer. Thank you for your response. I find it very encouraging.

Is there any medication to halt progression of SPMS? I hate to just let it get worse and worse.
