Why don’t you try the American Cancer Society cancer action network that you can do over the phone or the national suicide hotline or similar suicide hotlines? Great idea I hope it works out Leslie 😁

If you are involved in a church or other organization like a garden club, they love having phone helpers check in on members that are house bound.

I bet NMSS or MSSA have phone# volunteer needs? I was doing a little of this for our local NMSS a few yrs ago, encouraging people to register for their local MS walk.

One nice thing, if you’re not sure about a long-term commitment, is that you might find an organization that needs help for short-term projects. While many/most results may be for in-person help, there are also remote opportunities (phone, computer).

It’s been years since I’ve used the site but I imagine just about any not-for-profit organization might need telephone or computer volunteers at one point or another, so you could start a search by identifying the types of things you’re most interested in. You might have to keep checking the site until something pops up. I don’t know how often they post new opportunities.
