Hello everyone,

I went to the mailbox and my copy of NMS Momentum was in the mailbox! I opened it to che co it out and I saw an article about music therapy might help MS symptoms. I will say that for me, has been a definate. I didn't go to actual therapy for it, my headphones and I are inseparable! Well, for the most part anyway. They have kept me from going stark raving mad a lot of times. Helps curb the stress monster, without a doubt! Not to mention my harmonica's, then we have those as well which are inseparable. Other than the shower, but hey that just gave me an idea! Maybe instead of singing in the shower.... πŸŽ΅πŸŽΆπŸŽ΅πŸšΏπŸ˜‚

Then I get to another article about Out-stressing stress, and it mentions about what I deal with stress and symptom flares... well well... I found them to important not to pass along.

Thoughts and prayers,

I listen to all the oldies, rock & roll, country, So much great music out there. Personally, thrift store shopping, and used book stores are my therapy. I got together with good friends yesterday for a ride to the mountains and lunch, always great therapy!

That is awesome CalfeeChick , it's just to darn hot here to even consider getting a trike, I might be able to use it 3 weeks out of year here and there probably in December the mostl 😁 however I did consider it for a brief time when using the semi recumbent elliptical trike machine at physical therapy. It got me to thinking, well maybe sometimes I could use one. Then I realized if I were on a ride even in temperate times there was the whole not wanting to be stuck to ddar from home if my energy zapped out on me like it has a tendency to... The electric assist were way outta disability level income bracket so I just hope to get back to the machine before to awful long. πŸ˜€

We drove to the mountains. of the 4 of us, one has bad sciatica, can't drive or ride right now, one is just recovering from A bad Memorial Day cycling accident, and me with MS. And one of the guy's wife, who was in a horrible head-on collision 3 1/2 years ago. We all take care of each other and love spending time together! That's the important part!! We count our blessings, share great memories and look forward to making more memories.

Good reads Allen. Good reading and good music. Don’t get better than that.

Yeah when I started reading them I know at least the whole stress topic comes up quite often so I thought I might bring those to light! 😁

Stress is one of my worst enemies so I’m always up for new ideas on handling it. Seems like it never ends.

And music never gets old.

Yes music really does soothe me and sometimes motivates me to try something new. I listen to such an eclectic variety of music. I go back and forth between old rock to gospel to old country to alternative. Sometimes, the YouTube system selects an oldie that I had not listened to in a very long time. Gotta love technology! Pink Floyd's Shine on You Crazy Diamond inspired me to tell my brother a daydream I had of a song I would write about him called Shine on You Crazy Thunder Egg. He is rough and tough on the exterior but inside is this crystal spirit ringing the truth like only true crystal can do. On to new inspirations!

I suggest an accordion in the shower. πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

There's an idea for sure however seeing as I don't have an accordion... lol that and if I rented one for a day, there might be an issue with the return when it's blowing water out all its buttons and keys!πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚
