Jazzyinco,

I'm actually handling the Monster the same way you are.

There is so much publicity on Ocrevus I was just wondering.

Jazzyinco,

I love the way you responded with all the cute little pictures.

No side effects after 1st year. Praying to see positive progress in the 2nd year.

Think positive. If no side effects after 1st year then none the second year.

I have been on Ocrevus for 2 years as I started on the trial for it. Score it was on the market. I have had a cough for the entire time that will NOT go away. Almost like constant bronchitis. Very phlegmy and can cough and spit up phlegm all day. My pulmonary function and lung X-rays are normal, just the nagging cough which wears me out. Also my sleep is messed up and my depression has increased with anxiety significantly. Recently I have had breast discharge and had a mammogram to rule out breast cancer, the discharge had blood in it but no cancer found. They are watching though as the blood can be a precursor. Have had skin issues, with an acne like rash too that was not present before. Hope that helps.

I have been on Ocrevus for a little over a year just after FDA approval. I also have sleep issues, skin issues (widespread acne as well) also extreme fatigue that starts a couple days following my infusion. Way above and beyond the normal amount of MS fatigue. Started Modafinil just prir to my recent infusion on the 5th of June. The recovery time was just a few days compared to the previous of 6 weeks. So either my reaction is better and/or the addition of Modafinil. It's helping my energy levels and that's a definate plus.

Did you have a chance to ask your Doctor?

Leslie

Allen5280 in reply tolbenmaor

Yes, that's what initiated the modafinil. I am hypersensitive to medications. I get alot of side effects. This is my 4th dmt the first three I was unable to tolerate the side effects. Ovrevus, by far, has been the easiest on my system.

Have you tried Alpha Lipoic Acid? It's helped me with my

MS. It's not a prescription. I learned about it from reading my

Momentum magazine.

I meant I have not tried the Alpha Lipoic Acid. I have been on Ocrevus since May 2017

Which 4 did you try? I am starting tecfidera next week and I am scared

Allen5280 profile image
Allen5280 in reply tojkdavid99

I started out with Tifectdera, then Gylenia, copaxone and now I'm on Ocrevus which is the first I am able to tolerate. Hypersensitivity to medications runs in my family and I'm no exception.

I hope Ocrecus works well for you

I just got my first shipment of techfidera, realized those pills are just too big for me to swallow. I have always had that issue so now I am going to try ocrecus. These posts make me feel a little about trying ocrevus. Good luck to you and I hope tech works for you.
