I wanted to highlight some of the awesome data collected in the April press release about ocrevus over the past four years that it has been used globally. First we have to think Carolek572 for putting the press release on her post in the chat room. Sometimes we get so busy I understand that it's easy not to want it to get into a 5 page document going over research findings. So because the information is so hopeful and positive and relevant I thought I would post it in a much shorter form for everybody who hasn't hit Carol's post to read. So here goes the summarized results.

After the 4-year anniversary of yogurt is being used globally by some 40,000 patience, which I am amongst, the results are as follows:

1. At the end of four years of patients with RRMS there was a sustained reduction of disease activity and disability advancement. Wow!

2. Additionally ocrevus delayed cognitive decline in people with relapse remitting MS and actually improve cognitive function in many with RRMS! Unbelievable!

3. The patients in a double-blind study showed promise her results of those with the actual ocrevus it showed a reduction in nerve damage and in the nerve inflammation biomarkers. Wouldn't that help us all!

4. Safety studies and data collected from many of the double blind studies showed ocrevus safety data what were consistent with all favorable data collected that show benefits more favorable and safety data collected was favorable for both relapse remitting MS in primary progressive MS.

Now I asked you what is not to like on this study results! If you're still on the fence about ocrevus and I'm afraid to jump on board please go back and read Carol's entire article about press release. Then with notes and information you've collected in hand go to the neurologist and see what he says about putting you on us

If you are unsure or on the fence about whether ocrevus is right for you or if you're scared of the possible side effects please go back and read this article about the study of ocrevus for the past 4 years with some 40,000 plus patients on it let me know what you think. I hope this helps and a lot more people read it then 5 that responded to Carol host. Enjoy the reading because I know I did I'm so excited about everyone with MS

My doctor wanted me to start on Ocrevus last year, but I wanted more time for more data on efficacy and safety. I have gone from RRMS (dx 2005) to PPMS for the last few years. It's a very slow progression. I've been on Tecfidera for 5 years. I would switch to Ocrevus, but I have a great fear of cancer. That's where I am.

Thank you for this information. It’s very timely for me because the neurologist I saw yesterday at Johns Hopkins recommends that I switch from Aubagio to Ocrevus. I’m a bit nervous but I realize there should be more benefits than drawbacks for me. I will be sure to read the article you mention in your post.
