Ocrevus update.

Hello we're getting everyone in our family it's Fancy1959. Oh I wanted to pass along some encouraging results I'm noticing from my last or should I say my first full infusion of Ocrevus back in April. I have noticed over the past week or 10 days that my spasticity has dropped dramatically. It's not totally gone but it's probably at this point 85% improved! And when spasticity hits I can make my body respond and work through it instead of it controlling my body. I am very encouraged about this positive result and I wanted to share it with everyone. On the downside you have to be careful with your immune system like we all talked about. I got one nasty ear infection probably less than ten days after the infusion. It was so bad that I'm still recovering from it as it blew out my right ear drum with the severe infection! But it's healing! And I I am excited to see what the next positive result will be! I will be sure and let everyone know what happens next bad or good! But I'm really rooting and believe it will be good! Time will tell and I will let you know as soon as I know!

Glad to hear your Spasticity is reduced, it hasb3en helping mine somewhat as well. I saw you post just as I had logged on to start my update aas well. So thankful it is helping you. I also have had a difficult time with a few infections as well, however the gains far outweigh the downside!

Hi Fancy 1959, that’s great news, but sorry about your ear infection. I had my 3rd infusion in April. I, too, have noticed less spasticity. I have had 2 bladder infections and 1 respiratory infection. They all cleared up quickly with antibiotics. I agree with Allen, the gains outweigh the risks, especially the extra hope it gives you for better days. Wishing all of you a good day😊 Linda
