Just take them like the like directions tell you too. You shouldn’t have any problems. I had been on them for a couple of years. My doctor told me to get off of them before I started to take Ocrevus. I didn’t have any problems with them.

I want to let you know that flushing can look 👀 like you get red on your cheeks I didn’t get it a lot but when I did it made me look healthy. But I would keep an eye out for it. Just drink enough water with it.

Have a good day!

Glad they finally arrived! Good luck. I have an app that reminds me when to take my meds or I would forget if I took them or not. Keep us updated when you can.

I had to get one of those pill boxes with am and pm written on them. Because I couldn't remember if I took it or not. Don't want to over dose but don't want to skip it either. A freaking conundrum!🤔😤😭☹😧Even with the darn thing sometimes I don't realize that I've forgotten to take a dosage until I'm getting ready to take the next one...and the previous dosage is still sitting in its container.😣so frustrating!

I have one of those as well and I fill it every Sunday afternoon. I just can't put my Tecfidera in it because its light sensitive 😞 So that bottle sits on my computer desk where its easily accessible for me to get to after a meal.

I keep the box on a side table that is out of direct light. I tend to watch tv with all the rest of the lights turned off. The tecfidera is the only med in the box.

I have had a pill box for a number of years it is the best thing ever. I also set an alarm on my phone every12 hours.

One other thing that I do in a ziplock bag I think it’s the gallon size bag I have my medicine that I am using and i always let my family know if I have to go to the hospital or get out of the house fast. That is my go bag because the hospital may have some of my medicines but I know they will not have my Ampyra so all my medicines go with me.

Also my pill box I can take out a hole day if I go out when I. Know I will be needing my medicines. I have them with me. We need to be organized about our medicines.

I had ended up in the hospital for 8days for pneumonia when I left the hospital I had a visiting nurse come over and I asked her why she was there and she said it was to check the on me to be sure I was talking my medicines and she said after seeing that I had that under control. She said I don’t know why she was there. I mean there were other things but I had everything in order she spoke with her supervisor and they realized I didn’t need them. Sorry I rambled on about things.

Hello Smartcloud1981, I been on Tecfidera for couple of years now also. When stress or tired you will get the flushing. They suggest you take a aspirin half hour before taking Tecfidera. I chose the other add a fatty like cottage cheese, or ice cream or yogurt, avocado. It’s up to you. Good luck 👍

Thank you. I took that second dose with aspirin, and a good dinner. That seemed to help.

When it gets hot outside I don't have an appetite...can't blame it on MS though I've always been that way...But I'll eat ice cream before taking the tecfidera so I don't get a stomach ache...ya that's it😁and the ice cream helps cool me down...That's my story and I'm sticking to it🤣

I've been on Betaseron for about 25 years. When I first started on it, I got big bruises at the njection sight, but after a couple f weeks that stopped. Haven't had a relapse since I've been on Betaseron.

Good luck with the tecfidera. I've been on it since December. Don't ever take it on an empty stomach. I made that mistake only once...It gave me a really bad stomach ache. But I'm doing much better on tecfidera than I did on avonex. I still occasionally get the flushing affect. Now it only lasts 3-5 minutes if I get it all anymore.

Thank you. I am so happy to start any treatment at gunks point to help slow progression. So far I’ve been taking it a breakfast and dinner time. Take one aspirin before and haven’t had any flushing since the first dose.

Make sure you take them with food. Never on an empty stomach. I made that mistake once because I was in a hurry one morning. Was nauseated for several hours. Hope you have good results with it. Will pray that you do.
