I know that my husband's doc told him not to eat grapefruit when he was taking Pravastatin for high cholesterol. Hubby chose to stop the med and continue eating grapefruit and there's been a slight lowering in his count.

occasionally, grapefruit or juice does appeal to me but too many meds so I resist

Yip grapefruit and a lot of meds...good thing I always disliked those things....

Growing up I liked grapefruit but haven't had one in years so I don't know if I even like them anymore. Would cut it in half, sprinkle sugar on the top of it before eating them, and scoop out each section with a spoon.
