My Rebif treatment finally came and yesterday was my first injection! It was very easy. I never felt the needle or burning a sensation or flu like symptoms...All smiles... I’m praying you all are doing alright!

The first one is the scariest. You'll be an old pro soon...👍💉😁
Hooray!! Glad it went well.
That’s good news, I hope you have some positive results from it, Blessings Jimeka 😊 👍
Although I'm wondering why your Dr has prescribed one of the old and least effective MS drug for you I hope it does work so good luck. Don't overdo the paracetamol and ibuprofen type meds when/if the flu like symptoms do hit you (which they probably won't until you are up to full doses of Rebif) as these supposedly innocuous drugs come with their own issues and side effects (e.g.with regular and ongoing use when taken to counteract side effects caused by drugs like Rebif, ibuprofen can cause a folate deficiency - I know because I've "been there and done that" and it wasn't any fun at all!)
In relation to diet - try to not get caught up in the religious fervour that surrounds a lot of the so-called "MS diets" - the truth is that, despite what their gurus and promoters would like you to believe, the evidence isn't actually there about their "effectiveness" or on their impacts on MS. Just get rid of over-processed junk foods and beverages and eat good quality unprocessed food with plenty of vegies and fruit.

Despite what some people would like you to also believe, you do not need to avoid dairy, or gluten, or any other food groups - again - there is no evidence to support avoiding specific foods of food groups unless you have a medically diagnosed condition such as lactose intolerance or celiac disease or similar.
yea I would have went with an infusion but my Neurologist said don’t even look at infusions yet... my insurance denied the Rebif too smh thank youuuu!
This takes me right back 2002 and my first line of treatment! I hope that all goes well for you friend.
Take care!
you will be a "shot" pro in no time
Way to go😁👍
