Barbara Bush, wife of George H Bush, 41st president of the United States, mother to George W Bush the 43rd President of the United States, and mother of Jeb Bush governor of Florida from 1999 to 2007 died today at the age of 93 with her family beside her in her Houston home. She leaves behind a legacy of quiet dignity that will be hard met by many first ladies in years to come. She spearheaded the first Nationwide movement to increase youth reading levels across America. Her sincere smile and her behind the scene efforts will be remembered for a long long time. It is my grandest hope that the next week will be a celebration of her life instead of a morning of her death.
My deepest condolences goes out to the Bush family who have truly lost their matriarch, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of their family today. It is my hope that the Bush family realizes Barbara has found a quiet place, free of pain, as she watches her family from above to continue to guide them in her quiet ways.
