Has anyone tried CBD oil. I have had several people suggest I try for spasms and pain. Looking for input from people who have used.

Good Morning msinca07 😊 I don't personally, but know others here do or have tried it.

They will be able to help you more.😊

And please let me know how it works for you! 💕

My wife is using it for her back and arthritis and has stoped hydrocodone👍She does the oral under your tongue 👅 takes about 10-15 minutes to react. Good luck if you decide to try 👍🙏🐾Ken

I have a friend who uses it for arthritis pain, and she has had great results. If you do try it, would you let us know how it worked for you?

I definitely will. Haven't made up my mind yet.

I tried it last fall for about 6 wks. I was hoping for spasms relief, which it did not help. A friend of mine with non-MS related back pain uses drops 2-3 times daily and was able to get completely off vicodin. I have since been told the drops are primarily for pain. She buys her drops thru Amazon.

I, too, have been thinking about starting it.But it's more expensive than I wanna spend.

Msinca07: I tried CBD oil and it didn't help my spasms. Now that my state has medical cannabis, I have tried CBD oil with THC. It helps, but still not enough to get off all my baclofen for spasms. Wish you the best if you decide to try it.

I got a free bottle of it, so I have been taking it for about a week now. I have been having trouble with my right knee lately, and I think since I've been taking the CBD oil, the pain isn't as bad as it was. When I run out, I doubt that I will get any more, though, since it's so expensive. I only got this first bottle because it was FREE.

My friend said she took 3-4 drops under the tongue 3 times a day. It took about 6 weeks to really relieve pain. I tried it,but couldn't handle the taste. Doc increased Baclofen to 6-8 10mg a day depending on the need.

You don’t HAVE to taste it at all. Simply buy empty capsules and drop the medicine in and close the capsule. I have never tasted it, and there is no need to mix it with high calorie fruit juice. (Which has the same amount of sugar as a soda.)

There is no need to smoke or eat fattening brownies to get the benefits. I am not surprised that the “CBD” oil on Amazon was ineffective. You must obtain a brand that is quality controlled and each batch tested for efficacy. These are not available on Amazon but are sold through the website of the company that manufacturers the oil.

Rick Simpson Oil is the “gold standard”, and although it is costly, you only need to take a drop the size of a rice pellet in a capsule. The dosage suggested by their website is for emergency type situations like cancer or a bad relapse. Most people could not take the amount they recommend on the website and function normally. When you take a micro dose at bedtime you will sleep well and wake up feeling like you always feel. I think of it like a DMT- I would probably be a lot worse off without it.

I have since started using creams by Ancient Minerals that have high amounts of magnesium. One for daytime @ one for night. The nighttime one also has a little melatonin which helps me have a good nights rest😊💤💤

Yes, I didn’t see any benefit.

It’s good stuff! Does not work for everyone, so don’t expect a miracle. The hemp based CBD doesn’t work for me as well as Cannibus based CBD.
