Recently my knees want to give out and are painful..Xrays show no problems. Could this be MS related?

Of course, we would encourage you to talk with your doctor(s), but MS has such strange symptoms, it is possible. The supporting structures of knees can be a problem, and with alterations in our gait and with stiff muscles, I would wonder if a physical therapist could evaluate you and give you some strengthening and stretching exercises. Just a thought.
I sure hope you find out what's happening and that you stay safe when walking.
Hi Judymax,
WonderMom here. Greaterexp is right,You should always report new symptoms to your doctors. After all,We MS'ers can develop other health issues too.
😉 Last year I developed Swollen, sore joints&other symptoms. My PCP's work-up indicated Lupus and I was sent to Rheumatology.Tons of blood work&tests later...they say "There is definitely something wrong,we don't know what it is.It's probably your MS".
My Neuro says "Not everything is MS related".PCP is "unsure". Seems Even with advanced MRI,they can't always see lesions deep in our brains. So, who knows...
It maybe wise to request to see an orthopedist to be certain. After all, knees can be tricky to diagnose sometimes.
Good luck.
