Motor tics

Does anyone have motor tics that started with other MS symptoms? I have issues with shoulder shrugs and what I can only describe as arm flopping. I’m not sure if it is something from MS or perhaps something caused by some of my meds? It’s gotten noticeably worse this past year...

What does your Neuro or PCP say about it! And if you havnt mentioned it , now would be the time.🤔

My legs does it some times my husband the other day asked me if I feel that the house is shaking and I looked at him and said yes I felt that was my leg and I laughed

I will put my hand on my leg to stop it, yes it is kind of freaky

Interesting and something to either research on MSAA or talk with the doc about. I have started to sigh ALLOT and talk to myself. My husband startles me when he answers! 😊😄

CalfeeChick I talk to myself my husband just looks at me and says are you talking your self and I will say yes or I’m talking to the TV 📺. and is usually when the news is on but I don’t see anything wrong with that. Most of the time I’m home alone.

Mine talks to the football coaches, players, etc.

Qt314grl If I sit for an extended period of time, occasionally my right leg will involuntarily jerk wildly enough to dislodge whatever I am holding on or near my lap. I also get tics when I am sitting, These come in bursts of several followed by a long pause, then another burst, some thigh or calf muscle nerve firing for a mysterious reason. Both are so infrequent that I mostly ignore them. Your shoulder tics sound more annoying.

I know they are ignoring but it is interesting when someone sees it for the first time, they look like they're seeing something from a Horror movie I freaked out my brother in law. Some people can’t handle thinkings like that. I just put my hand on my knee and try to stop it, Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. Whatever
