Hi, my fitness fanatic sister thinks it would be good for me to try the keto diet. She feels it could help my MS as well as my prediabetes. Just wondering if anyone else has had experience with it.

Who's tried the keto diet?
I don’t know much about the keto diet just that it’s a very low carb diet (or way of eating). While it may help with your prediabetes, I’m not sure about your ms. I would consult with your doctor before starting any new diet. I’m not a doctor, this is just my opinion. Good luck on whatever you decide.
Keto is soooo in right now 😂 I'm on my own version of it to blast some baby pounds, but keeping the saturated fats low because I do OMS. I don't know if there's been many real studies with keto and MS, but it's a winner for kids with seizures!
Just wondering what OMS is?
It's a newer version of the diet Swank recommended, plus lifestyle. Stands for Overcoming MS. Basically real food vegan plus fish and flax oil.
I told my bestie about keto and she's lost 38lbs (also working out). She joined a group called lazy keto on Facebook and seems very happy with it. Good luck!
Yes. The more exercise I get, the better I feel. When I gave up breads and foods in that family, I started to feel even better. Fresh fruit, lean meat, fresh veggies and water. It really does work if you stick with it. I just got a Kettlebell from Lidl this morning. It's something new to add to my exercise plan. I just keep feeling better everyday, and I look better, too, which makes me think I should keep it up. Take care and the best of luck to you. Have a best day ever.
Wizardsmom, it's Fancy1959. Since I never heard of it till now, I can't be of much help. Goodluck with the diet!
Did you ever start keto?
Yes, and I love it! I feel great and I have lost weight. What more could you ask for?
