Hi everyone I’m new to this community! I was dx 2 years ago but have been dealing with symptoms for about 12 years. I have two beautiful girls 16 & 4! I’m still working full time as a phlebotomist but slowing noticing difficulty at times. Right now going through Occupational Therapy to help me along. I’m on my third dmd, Aubagio, and praying it’s the one for me. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone here and helping support you all emotionally as much as I can.

Ken, sounds like you've got a great "pack" there!! We are getting our second dog soon and I'm hoping they will get along. It will be a chocolate lab puppy that we've already named Timber. Never had two at once, I must be crazy for taking this on!LOL

I think that two is easier than one 🤷🏼‍♂️. The older one explains to new one what to due and they keep each other company, especially when you’re gone👍 Puppies always seem to adapt 😉🙏🐾🐩 Ken

My oldest daughter was born there and is actually living there with her father. He’s in the military. She’s loving it and has been traveling. I’m so jealous but I couldn’t keep her from this great experience.

Welcome! With this fascinating and strange disease, we all have different symptoms and experiences. The great thing about this group is how we all bind together to lift one another up with encouragement and information. We really become friends quickly.

We look forward to getting to know you better.

Welcome to our crazy world. You have found the greatest group of understanding and caring people there is. Us that suffer with this crazy disease understand things that others can’t. So again welcome to our world.

And if I bite I won’t bite hard.😂😂😂

Nvprp21, it's Fancy1959 and I would like to officilly welcome welcome you to our extended family! You have found a safe place to come ask questions, voice concerns, or simply talk to people who truly understand what you are going through. This chat room is full of some of the most compassionate, caring, and kind people I have ever met. Remember the more you post and answer questions from other posts the quicker we will get to know you and you will get to know us! We have much we can learn from each other. Make sure you get a hold of jimeka as she is our birthday club ambassador and she needs to know your birth date so she can add it to our birthday Club. Just look for a question she posted and reply to her your birthday, name, and new information. Congrats on working and fighting this beast we live with. It also sounds like you have a beautiful family. I can't wait to get to know you better! Take care until we speak again. And I would like you to remember one thing in that is that together we are stronger! Fancy.

Nvprp21 Welcome to this wonderful group of caring and supportive people! Have a look around, ask questions, vent! I'm Jessie, I was diagnosed in 2006 with rrms after stress of buying my house then had to file for disability in 2008 after a bad relapse from the flu where I couldn't go back to work. Luckily I won on the first try with no lawyer!! Look forward to meeting you and chatting more.
