Just wanted to do a quick introduction-I was recently diagnosed with TN about 2 weeks ago, but I have read a frequent amount of TN being a warning sign for developing MS, and I have most MS symptoms. I wanted to learn more from this group as well as make new friends if possible, as I learn more. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Newbie here, recently TN diagnosed, awaiting MS diagnosis
I did answer your other post about TN
Welcome to the group yes we are here to support and uplift each other.
We educate and learn from each other as well. We even throw in some humor and prayer
We have had some people who just needed an ear from a group who understood what they where going though and needed to vent.
Post your questions, reply to others, and search the site it is a wealth of info
Welcome to this forum, Hidden I am curious, like you, if TN is a warning sign for developing 'ms'. I have PP'ms', was diagnosed in 2006, but I do not have TN. 'ms' presents itself so uniquely in every person who has 'ms' so I am not surprised that I have no similar symptoms to you. However, I am happy that you are seeking the answers from a medical team who can offer you some resolution to what ails you. I really really hope that you (and your medical team) are incorrect with your assumption and that you do not have 'ms', my friend. Keep Smiling
I know we have members who also have suffered with trigeminal neuralgia, and know at least one here who had the gamma knife procedure to reduce the pain. I'm sorry you're suffering with this.
We sure hope you get some real answers soon as to what is going on with you. Please keep us up to date on what you find out. In the meantime, I'm glad you found our little, very supportive group as you go through the diagnosis process.
Do you have a neuro checking for MS since you have symptoms?
Hello! First I could not remember what was TN.
Yes, I started having Trigeminal Neuralgia many years before start other symptoms of MS. And I still had strong TN almost needed to get botox. Then I started Tecfidera and all kind of Neuroinflammation, mcluding the very strong TN stopped.
I had also very bad spasms in waves besides all spine.
Previously to MS diagnostic with Neurologist.
I guess all high persistent, continuous, or intermitent is a previous possibility, predisposition, genetic, environment, virus, etc to became Multiple Sclerosis.
