That my son went through detox for his alcoholism, at the beginning of this year, and is doing well.

Good for your son. Addictions can tear a family apart. I have a daughter and granddaughter with drug addictions but won't accept help. Its heartbreaking. It has torn our family apart like so many more.

Morllyn I'm glad to hear that your son is doing well after going through detox. Addiction is a horrible thing and it effects everyone the person has contact with and cares about them...family and friends.

That’s great👍 My son went thru rehab for drugs for 30 days. The same day he graduated he overdosed on herion. Was in critical care for 12 days and we brought him home with hospice to die. His brain was like Swiss 🧀. After the third day he was thrashing in bed middle of the night and I jumped up and asked what was going on? He had not talked for 15 days.... and said the Lord was holding him and deciding whether to take him or leave him????, The next day he started to talk and was hungry. After a week we put him into a rehabilitation facility and they worked with him for 45 days. He has been over two years now clean🙏👍🤗 still has some mental issues, but has done great physically. There is hope thu 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😉

We know that detox/rehab often does not work the first time, and sometimes it takes many more but, we are just taking it day by day.

I know how thankful that you are to have your son back.

that is wonderful, tell him to keep strong as holidays create stressors and the temptations.
