Note to bore you but I am grateful for my sweet thoughtful husband that came home yesterday with a dozen red roses for me. Love that man and just don't understand how all those women before me let him get away! I think they were just getting him ready for me! They\ roses are sitting on the lower half of a chair that I just recently received the set and I am very carefully cleaning them. They we built and carved for my grandfather and his soon to be wife in 1912. they are called "Courting chairs" and the couple had to sit in them while courting (dating) with the chairs approximately 3 feet apart. They are carved on the back with the date and their names..

CalfeeChick love the roses. I will be lucky if my husband even remembers. We stopped giving cards a few years ago as all we did was recycle them. He is a farmer and loves the land, and I know he loves me , just now and again a material show would be nice. As for your courting chairs, I love them and to have your grandparents names engraved in them, what a treat. Enjoy, blessings Jimeka
