I've had MS for 25+years. I'm a wife, mother, and grandmother. My MS hid for many years, then it made itself known. Life is more of a challenge now. I'm semi-mobile and I just keep moving the best I can.

Welcome to this community. Yes, keep moving the best you can, make the most of every moment you can, be thankful for what you do have, be positive, and most of all have faith in our Lord. Let us know when times are good, when they're bad, and when you just want an "ear".

Welcome, mrshaney . Your introduction sounds a bit like mine. It's been a rough couple of years lately, but I am still mobile and doing okay...

I hope you find this a great place to visit often. Share. Vent. Ask questions. Learn new things--I have even though I've lived with MS for over 26yrs. Laugh. Encourage. And make new friends. That's what we do here. We're happy to meet you! 💕

Welcome to our group! I've had MS for over 12 years and am semi mobile. Things for me are also getting harder to do and slower to do. 🙃

Welcome, I'm about 2 weeks older on this blog then you are. Like you I've had MS for 26 + years'; I'm a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. All was pretty calm at the beginning but the last five or 10 years it's taking on its own life.

Like you I work on keeping moving. I have a walker, which I call my chariot (I mean really, the Romans stood and they had wheels that's why it's chariot. Guess that would make me a gladiator); A Walking stick (which is really classy looking made out of Ironwood; I get lots of compliments on it ) I call it my shillelagh (having a bit of Irish blood in me; sounded so much better that way). I think taking a slightly different look at what we have to do makes it a little more palatable.

Keep on moving and don't fall.

Oh golly mrshaney I just ran into what could maybe be your first post?! You were so welcoming to me. And here I read this and just want to hug you! Just keep moving, anyway you can. Hang in there, do what you can and If you don't feel like it Don't!!

My first day here I learned "'No' is a complete sentence! Amen! (I believe that Annie said that. Forgive me if I got that wrong!) God is Strong! Lean.

Not what you're looking for?
