Hi I seriously need help. Do any of you have recommendations on power chair ramped carrier for vehicles? I'm needing one in the next couple months when my power chair is ready. I've been looking online but I see that some have poor reviews. I'm thinking under $500. It's got to be good for 500lbs, over 26" wide and over 45" long probably 6' ramp. Anyone had good luck with some or could tell me to avoid certain brands?

Power chair ramp carriers and entry ramps
Tanyagoeres This is the one I use.
It is from Harbor Freight and is only $169.00 + $6.99 shipping for standard shipping. Way cheaper than anything else I have been able to find. I have been using it for about 9 months now and it is great! I can even load it up without my husbands help. It takes me about 5-7 minutes to load and strap in place. Not bad at all. I found out about these from another group I am in. The only thing is you have to a class III or IV 2" hitch. Not all vehicles can take that. You would need to look in your owners manual tosee if it will work with your vehicle. Since the carrier is aluminum it's not heavy to lift the ramp part up or down. The only thing I don't like about it is the back-up camera on my van is useless when my scooter is on it. When the carrier and ramp are empty and folded up I can still use the back-up camera but the visability is not as good. I feel it's a small price to pay for freedom.
I hope this info helps you.

That's the aliminum. So you have had no problems with the slats on the aluminum ramp. I saw pics on reviews not that brand per say but where ramp slats moved or were crooked. But you don't have that issue correct?
No I haven't had that issue but I have heard that some others have. Here is a link to one my sister has. It might be better for you? discountramps.com/wheelchai...
So are those metal ramps sturdy? The long ones that run a couple grand. Crap I'm trying to figure out cause I need 32' of ramp which is insane when ten foot sections are thousands $ . I wish my husband and I weren't both disabled. I can't even think straight to figure out building one. I got some applications for help building one but we're just renting and the application s say have to own. Blah
