MS and weekends....

Here it comes, people home hot outside, and we have two days that take me the week to clean up.How can 2 people be so messy?Ask for help?hahahahaha prepare foods on FRI do help if one can.any other ideas to help get thru a stretch?Besides make everyone leave!

lol. sometimes you have to say stuff that might make people upset but I'm sorry its only so much we can do I tell my folks you welcome here but I cant cook and clean up I NEED HELP. LOL

It's a good reminder for all of us--we need to know what our limits are and we need to communicate those limits to others. When we respect those limits, others will more inclined to also.

@jackiesj I don't know the particulars of your situation, so I will speak for myself when I say that it is often difficult to be assertive. We want to do it all and we are used to doing it. Our bodies can't function like that any more, though, so something's gotta give. I shudder to think of you spending a week cleaning a mess created over the weekend.

That is so right I love my son, daughter in law and of course my granddaughter bus the came out from Idaho and just moved to Utah which we didn't know was going to happen so quickly. Guess what my son took apart our bathroom and now it's not fixed and we have to fix it. And my house is a mess and of course I can't do it and my husband has other things on the list so now we have to ask someone to help us. Which we know they will but it's on there time. What I am trying to say is if someone comes over try to see that it looks better than it did before they came over.
