$0 copay

I must admit that the more I work with Biogen the better I like them. When I originally started I mistakenly listed my insurance as Medicare but after thinking about it though I have United healthcare Medicare advantage A and B my drug plan was thru my old employer. So I called their financial assistance plan explained what happened and they verified that I was not on Medicare drug plan and qualified for $0 copay for my Pelegridy. She even told I was fortunate to have insurance because the month cost was $5000 per month which nobody without insurance could pay anyhow. But regardless now instead of $37.50 per month it's now $0 which to someone on as disability that will be a big help. It sucks that any govt sponsored plan is not allowed to qualify. To me they need it worse that people on private plans but that's just me.

Biogen will sometimes provide the drug for free if a person qualifies, rumor says. I don't know about the others, but Shared Solutions is paying my insurance deductible.

Biogen starts mine on my next shipment of Pelegridy. $0 copay sure sounds good just wish I'd done it earlier. And it's pretty easy to qualify as long as you're not a Medicare receipent.

Shared Solutions paid mine when I was on Copaxone. Biogen now provides my Tecfidera for free as well. I am a Medicare recipient with a Part D plan.

You're a very lucky person. I was on the phone with Them for 45 mins while they verified I wasn't a Medicare recepient because I had Medicare A and B and not D. I had to pay $37.50 copay for my first to shipments because I was on Medicare they said. I just love insurance people. Haha. I shouldn't say anything because my wife does customer service health benefits for an insurance company. I'm just happy I don't have to pay anymore.

I was blessed to receive rebif free for 8 years while uninsured. Now I have insurance and serono helps until my deductible is met. They are an amazing company.

I know I was tickled pink. I'm so glad some of these drug companies are helping cover the cost of these high prices meds. I can sure put that saved money to good uses.
