What kind of ms do you have? 🌈 πŸ¦‹

My neurologist doesn't classify , I only have issues from waist down, stiff legs, foot drop, and some bladder issues.

I hope Ocrevus works even better than Rituxan for you. I just started last week, so too soon to know for me. Insurance usually requires the prescribing physician to designate the type of MS, at least in the U.S., but that's great that hasn't been a problem. Do you have relapses, or has your disease been mostly stable?

Rituxan? Why do you take this medication? Not trying to be nose. The mire I learn the better I feel

SlmHarris, I started Rituxan last summer when I was in the hospital, had lost everything from waist down. I had been doing cytoxan but had finished all the dose I could do, since Rituxan is the synthetic version of Ocrevus we did it until Ocrevus was approved. I think it really helped me, they were talking nursing home because I couldn't take care of myself. Happy to say I am in my own condo which I closed on while in rehab living alone with my cat. My siblings help with household things I can't manage but I take care of me.

High 5! Still waiting on getting thyroid back in range. Then start my process to get on Ocruvis!

So proud for you that its not bothering you!

I have read the infusion can take up to 3 1/2 hours is that correct?

Can you share a little detail?

I am wishing you the best of best!

We started pre Meds at 830, Ocrevus at 845, finished at 1145, had to stay for 1 hour so done at 1245. She accelerated my rate a little, said next time they will accelerate even more because I had no reaction. I had already done 3 rounds of Rituxan which is basically

the same as Ocrevus. Only thing I am noticing today is a little sore throat but that could be from no sleep 2 nights in a row and air conditioning is set at 65 because of humidity.

SlmHarris , I started Ocrevus last week, and for me I was at the infusion center eight hours. Everyone's different, so keep your schedule as flexible as possible. I did a post about the whole process and experience, you can search for it under my name if you're interested. :-)

dianekjs . I cannot find your post about your experience. I must be doing something wrong, I was interested to see how you got on. Blessings Jimeka πŸ¦‹ 🌈

I am doing great! No problems during infusion. Only slept 2 hours last night, not uncommon for me. Today did 2 loads of laundry, cleaned bathrooms. It is 12:45 am here still up.

Here you go jimeka , the main post discusses the plan, and I update on how the experience went later in the comment thread. Hope it's helpful. 😊
