Stairs are the biggest reason we're moving.

Wow! How real is that?! Great pic, Juleigh21 ! 💕
I assume your new home is all on one level, Juleigh21 ? How much longer before it is ready and you can move in?
Our new home is a one and a half story semi-detached home. All my living will be on one floor. 10 days till the moving van arrives! We had to take the apartment till the end of June. That might be a good place for me to go back to and rest so that I don't overdo it!
That's exactly how I feel some days, it's quite the workout. Hope the move goes well and that you don't get yourself too tired, blessings Jimeka 🦋 🌈
Hope your new place is much easier on you Juleigh21 .
That's how I look at my stairs at the end of a tiring day!!
I am so showing that to my friend!😊 She didn't understand why I wouldn't walk over to her house, after she had been here twice. Except, I had been cleaning cages all day, then she wanted boxes and stuff for the yard sale this weekend. So it was up and down all day. I could not do it. 😢 And she kind of got mad at me for it. 😐

My family has watched my struggle with stairs for 3 years. Getting up them takes so much energy and I constantly worry about losing my balance while going down them.
Wow. Same here. My wife or myself are really able to do stairs. We have my been upstairs for a long time and the few stairs to get into the house seem longer everyday. So we have our house of 23 years under contract for this reason among others. Good luck on moving. I dread like like you can't believe.
Doubled51 I was surprised how quickly our home sold. Seller's markets are rare. Good luck on moving. I understand the dread! We're half way there- out of our home of 17 years, living in an apartment, moving into our new home next Friday! And then the unpacking and setting up.
Our house was listed and received a contract in one day. For fullasking price. The area and location in in is booming right now. Have inspectors coming in today and if all goes well closing July 18. Now we have to find some where to move. I want a smaller almost stairless home with more land. Goo luck on your move.
May I borrow your realtor?
Good luck with the home inspector. They're brutal!
Inspector said everything went great. Now we will see if he's truthful or not. Got lucky and had a very nice down to earth guy
Good luck with your move.
Oh Juleigh21, it's Fancy1959. They say a picture is worth a thousand words and you found one that is worth a million words to most of us. Boy you couldn't have found anything better to show the world what we live with day in and day out. Now if I could just take the concrete blocks that are encasing the cartoon person's feet and hit my husband over the head with them perhaps I can get to bangs for my buck! LOL! Thanks for sharing. I love it!
Juleigh21, How wonderful that you are able to move to a more MS friendly house. I'm not able to do that so I did the next best thing. I had a stair chair installed. It's the most wonderful thing. Otherwise, I would be going up and down on my rear end. LOL.
Juleigh21 , what a great picture! I have 2 flights to climb to get to my sewing room, but it's worth it!
How are things progressing with you move?
Juleigh21 ... Love the cartoon! That is so me! The two biggest reason for my move are stairs and yard work. Can't do much of either these days! I have the same issues with stairs as you: losing my balance going down stairs is a constant fear and going up often takes more energy than I have. There are two steps to get to the door at my daughter's and even those are giving me trouble!
I should be moving into my single story condo right after the fourth of July. I can't wait to get settled in!
Good luck with your move!
Your picture is worth a thousand words. My gym has a special section for the ladies, but it is upstairs and no elevator. I can get upstairs, terrified to get down so I do my little workout downstairs. Best to you on the move. Ask friends to help.
