Yep, that's pretty much it. Lots of swelling the last few days, so up they go and up with the air, it's going to be a scorcher! At least the view is nice! Enjoy the day, one way or another!

Today's plan of action
GerriG, hello from Fancy1959. I do not think we have spoken before so I would like to walk him you to this awesome chat room. I suffered from swelling in my ankles and wrists last year and believe it or not what works best for me was staying out of the heat, so staying indoors but getting on my recumbent bike and exercising. Exercising help the circulation to return to my extremities and reduce the swelling in both my ankles and wrists almost immediately and very dramatically. I still kept them up after I was finished in just taking it easy but the key to reducing my swelling was exercise. Be sure and take care of yourself and let us know how the swelling goes. If you have access to some type of mild exercise it wouldn't hurt to include that to see what happens just make sure you stay out of the Heat if you notice that a real trigger for your swelling. The glad you're aboard and part of our extended family. Please remember that together we are stronger!
Hello Fancy1959 and thank you for the welcome! I have absolutely noticed the heat being a major trigger in the swelling as well as vision. Being in TX, it's almost impossible to get away from it! But I have been staying indoors for the most part because of it. I do try to get in some exercise while indoors, but sometimes the fatigue gets the best of me. I did a little too much yesterday and paying for it today. I will definitely look into possibly a recumbent bike of my own, or perhaps those pedals that sit on the floor that I can use from my chair. Thanks for the input, it's really appreciated! I've already found so much emotional support and information from here that I just sometimes can't wait to hop on and read what's going on.
Hi GerriG, sorry your swelling up, maybe you should talk to your doctor as ms may not be the cause. I am not a medical person but I have had friends who swell and they are diabetic, gout, not passing water due to their water works malfunctioning, and I am not suggesting you have any of those problems, just maybe ms is not to blame for everything. Please let us know how the swelling is. We have had a hot spell here in the uk but nothing like you get in Tx. Take care, blessings Jimeka 🦋 🌈 🚴
Hi jimeka! I have an appointment next week and will definitely bring it up again with my doc. It is mostly during the hot days that it gets to be a little painful, but I have been having problems with my bladder, just waiting on some other tests, and more tests, you know how that goes!
Good morning, GerriG (fellow Texan). Heat makes my swelling worse ... or it sure feels that way. I've found that maintaining hydration, activity, putting my feet up often, moderate compression socks, and gentle massage goes a long way toward minimizing that swelling.
Stay cool and enjoy the day
At least you can wear shoes. Today I tried to put on socks & gym shoes, they immediately sent tingling up my legs and numbed my feet. I walked around the block, then took th off. No trip to the gym today!!
