This about says it all, the new hopes and dreams after meeting a horrible affliction. My hopes, dreams and prayers are for all who carry this burden. May y'all have a blessed day.

That just about says it all, Allen5280 . I have lived with MS for 30 years and have almost given up hope that there will be a cure in my life time. I have to constantly remind myself that instead of feeling sorry for what I've lost - be grateful for what I have! You know that old "Glass is half full or half empty" thing?

Thank y'all for your responses to my posts. We all struggle through each and every moment. The hardships produced by our shared affliction, I couldn't have even begun to imagine until I experienced it firsthand. My devotions today reminded me as to how it isn't all in vein.

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. - 2 corinthians 4:17

I wouldn't necessarily call our troubles light, however in the grand scope of things, the things that our minds can not possibly comprehend, they probably are. Hope y'all have a blessed peaceful day. 🌼

Allen5280, it's Fancy1959. Wow, what a moving and powerful prayer! I am going to have to type it up and enlarge it. It sums up so much that everyone affected by MS lives with each and every day! You don't know how often I have had dreams of being the athletic, fit, slim person I was a mere 5 years ago! You are a blessing to this chat room. I'm glad you found this chat room and became part of our extended family! Remember, together we are stronger!
