This week's project. Granny square blankie and booties. It keeps me calm to crochet, our area of California has been under a flood watch all week from heavy rains. Hope all are doing as well as we can!

Beautiful work.. you must be in North Bay area of Cali! I am in Silicon Valley, we have had a hell of a lot of rain. Friends in Mendocino are flooded out..hard to stay dry but, really...so much rain all at once?? (I should not complain) Though, the rain has stopped for a few days of sun, still cold but we'll take cool sun!! You made good use of your house-bound time!! Cheers and sending you sunny wishes!π
Wow Lynn you did all that in a week. It's beautiful. I wish you lived closer I would give you all my left over wool. Take care, well done, Blessings Jimeka
CalfeeChick so adorable, baby colors and the booties are tiny, makes me smile
CalfeeChick these are beautiful. I've found the knitting helps to keep me from being anxious. I've been knitting baby blankets for my church group.
I love those! They are adorable so tiny! You even added the bows CalfeeChick ππ
Beautiful work CalfeeChick π I crochet too, made my daughter a Messy Bun Beanie the other day.
You should post it HeidiK βΊπ We would love to see it!
If you're trying to add a pic to this post, that won't work, HeidiK . Or at least I haven't found a way to do that. πHave you tried starting a new post with the pic? Hope to see it!

Go for it. I think I'd go bonkersif I couldn't do my crafts.
I have always wished I had learned to crochet. Your blanket and booties are beautiful!! I am so sorry to hear of all the flooding in California and pray that everyone here stays safe and dry.
What sweet crochet designs, and how beautiful your work is! I made oodles of crochet thread snowflakes recently, but have to get back to quilting. I have about 100 projects, but progress is much slower than I'd like! I'm glad you use your time so beautifully!
Where are you people finding the time????? For some reason lm either moving slower or time is moving faster but sitting down for more than 10mins has become a luxury lately π π
Fortunately or unfortunately, it depends on what we make of it. I spend most of my time either in my bed staying warm or in a recliner with blankets, it's the only way I find any relief. I was always very physically active and have now directed those energies to my hands and making stuff for others. I have yarn and am currently making scarves for the needy, and also using up my odds and ends of baby yarns. As soon as I get some meds and some relief my goal is to go to the gym 2-3 times a week. I can see the gym from my kitchen window and it mentally hurts to not feel well enough to walk over there. My crafting will slow when I can do more physically..
