I took all of your advice and went to the er. Had an MRI, no brain bleed, but they sent the MRI results to my neuro since they don't have my baseline MRI. Feeling yucky, but what is new with ms? Love you all! Kelly xx

Went to ER
So happy to hear you went and they did a MRI Amore55 . It's a relief there was no brain bleed. Sorry you still feel yucky though. Praying your neuro gets and reads the results soon, Kelly, and you hear from him in a couple of days. π Take care and rest.
Tutu, thank you so much for your love, concern and a support. Aren't we blessed to belong to this wonderful family? How are you feeling? Tell me honestly, are you okay? I worry about everyone here so much. Let me know, okay? Love, Kelly xx
Thank you for going to the ER! I've been so worried about you! I'm glad to know you haven't had a brain bleed and that a copy went to your neuro!
Hang in there! Hoping for a quieter week for you!

Amore55 , you need to put your mind at rest and stop worrying about everyone else, sweet friend. Put all of your energies into getting rest and feeling better. Keeping you in prayer, Kelly. πDawn
Dawn, I was wondering if I could get your email. I joined a wonderful ecard program with wonderful cards and I would love to send you some. Perhaps you could do the private messaging, which I still don't know how to do! If you are not comfortable sharing it, I totally understand. Love, Kelly xx
Amore55 kelly, so glad u did go to the ER and very glad it wasn't a bleed! Sending healing thoughts your way...π
Erash, thank you for the kind, healing thoughts. So very appreciated! How are you feeling? I hope all is well with you. Love, Kelly xx
Erash, I was wondering if I could get your email. I joined a wonderful ecard program and would dearly love to send you some. Perhaps you could private message it to me, which I still don't know how to do! If you are not comfortable sharing it, I completely understand. Love, Kelly xx
So glad you went. I've heard of several people with MS that have lost their vision because they ignored or waited on an eye problem.
Amore55, Kelly it Fancy. Thank God you went to the ER and they ruled out all evidence of you having a brain bleed. How are your headaches are they still severe? Has your doctor ever treated you for migrains? Whatever is still going on with the headache you certainly need to get into your neurologist. How's your vision? If it's still a compromise to any degree you need to get it checked out as well. Can you imagine having MS and having limited or no vision at all on top of that. That would be awful sentence to be weighed down with. I have thought of you this entire day. I tried to send a post to you this morning asking what was up and it went away just before I had to go out the door with my son on some errands. I continue to send my thoughts and prayers your way as well. Keep in touch and let us know when you get into the doctors you need to see. Sending love from your friend, Fancy.
Fancy, thank you so much for your love and concern. It means the world to me, having your friendship. I have an appointment with my eye doctor who is superb and spoke to me about what happened and vowed to get to the bottom of it. So I will keep you in the loop about what happens. My neuro is supposed to call me Monday or Tuesday. Thank you again. How are you feeling? I think I heard that your part of the country is supposed to get more bad weather, but I hope I am wrong. Sending love and prayers, Kelly xx
Amore55, thank God your visit to the E.R.produced no briain bleeds and you have all your doctor appts set up for next week. i continue, along with a major portion of this chat room, to keep you in my thought ands prayers. Fancy.

Amore55 , Yay! No brain bleed. I'm glad you wen to the ER and got it looked at. Now, hopefully, your neuro and eye doctor will be able to figure out what happened. Take care, and I hope you feel less yucky as the day progesses.
So glad you did that!!!
Kelly, well done !
Other potential 'nasties' ruled out by scan , so some peace of mind at least : )
So a blip, a temporary glitch, a nibble ! ( I think of the permanent deficits as a 'chomp' ! )
I had a 'nibble' on Thursday, baaad headache, stayed in bed, sleeping mostly. When I got up my head was swimming, spine juddering madly and both legs collapsing ( and just when I thought the relapse was over ! ) Felt better yesterday and confident enough to have a bath - noticed my groin lymph nodes are up ! This usually signifies the end of a relapse is nigh, for me. 'Lymph nodes, meet the lymph nodes ...' ( to The Flintstones tune ! ) Hoping for a Yabba Dabba Do time soon : ))
Now rest, rest, rest ( Eat, sleep, rest, repeat ! ) It does not do to keep pushing too hard through a relapse. Best of luck with your investigations.
Angela x
Angela, I am so sorry you had a nibble on Thursday, hope all is better now. Those headaches are awful, aren't they? I did not know you are in a relapse, how long has it been going on? I love your Flintstones jingle! Let me know how you are doing, okay? Love, Kelly xx
Angela, I was wondering if I could get your email. I joined this wonderful ecard subscription with beautiful cards and would love to send you one once in awhile. Perhaps you could send it through the private messaging so that not everyone sees it. If you are not comfortable sharing it, I totally understand. Love, Kelly xx
Hi Kelly,
Sorry I'm a bit late replying - life and sleep overcame me ! I'm not always on the ball with checking messages but happy to PM my email - please forgive any less than instant response ! : )
Relapse started in mid December, triggered by a bad cough/cold virus. This has been the shortest, mildest one yet. I'm regaining a little power again - not enough to walk without stick yet but at least my legs are only going halfway down under me, rather than completely collapsing ! I was v. naughty on Saturday - my favourite band was on at my local pub ( the Inciders, ska/reggae cover band ) and with my confidence boosted by the lymph node display, I went . The plan was to sit nicely like a respectable disabled person and listen to the music. The plan lasted for the first song then I found myself hauling onto my feet to attempt a minimal 'dance'! I had brought a second spare fold up stick in my bag but didn't really want to get it out. A gentle sway was accomplished by stick in right hand and leaning on the table with left : ) Thus I danced some, sat some out for the evening ! It has worn me out but it felt so good to be out after a long housebound period and getting back to a more 'normal' me : )
I've felt a bit run over by a truck since - lots of muscle/tendon pain but this is a good sign for me. During the weak phase of my relapses there is an unnatural ( for my normal ) lack of stiffness and pain as the muscle tone is so low and floppy and I turn into an uncoordinated jellyfish ! I can judge when I'm improving by the pain/stiffness returning, signifying my 'normal' overly high muscle tone and some power and control coming back. No pain, no gain as they say : ) Do your relapses go through distinct phases like this ?
Right, I'm going to PM you before I forget ! : )
Take care, Angela x
