Lumps on head not Sweet syndrome

I eventually showed my doctor the very large itchy lump on my head, I can get lots usually on my forehead but sometimes all over my scalp especially behind my ears, and more in the spring. She gave it a name and said it was caused by stress, I work n a very stressful environment, and can't afford to give up, can stress really cause these lumps and is there any help?

Hi Honeybun, it would be helpful if you could remember the name of your condition as there are lots of conditions that affect the scalp. Unfortunately, your doctor doesn't sound particularly sympathetic or helpful. Sometimes stress can aggravate certain skin conditions, but that doesn't mean that you don't need advice on managing your condition or treatment.
