I suffer from Palmer Pustular phorasis, some days I have trouble walking.
The last couple of weeks I have noticed that the joints in my hands and knees are really painful.
Are they linked?

Hi Lacey,
Arthritis can occur in people with your condition. This can cause joint pain and swelling. You really need to see your doctor. A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, e.g ibuprofen, can help with the pain.
Take Care.
hi Lacey,
i'm also psoriasis sufferer like you. a year ago i had this experiences and in my case i thought its just a skin problem and delay visiting a dermatologist. later i consult a dermatologist though, they did a test (biopsy) and confirmed it "palmoplantar pustulosis" (forgot to tell you currently i'm living in Korea and the climate is totally different from my country). as a foreigner and due to language barrier i couldn't make out or they also didn't provide me the proper guideline such as food habit, triggers for psoriasis to control it. they just gave me tab. "Acitretin" and an ointment named "Diavobet" and i was told its chronic. i started taking it. after someday i started joint pain and that was so horrible. i cant even take normal breath that time and one of my chest bone become unusual and started losing my weight. it was such a nightmare i still don't want to remember and i had to back my own country consult there a Dermatologist too and she prescribed me "Methotrexate" and said its safe rather than "Acitretin". now whenever i feel problem in my hands and toe i just use "Dermovate". my palmpoplantar pustulosis is under control now coz i know the triggers that causes itching and pain but nowadays pain getting back on left shoulder as well as the chest pain like before. symptoms are likely arthritis. winter is the trigger this time i think. need proper medications for me too. take care
