Can anyone offer an opinion on a picture of a mole?

I noted a small lesion, it's probably 2mm across last week on my shoulders/back of my neck. At the time it had some flakey skin on it, and I thought it was a spot. However, I have still felt it this week so took a picture of it, and I'm concerned it is something to be concerned about.

It's not itchy, it's not bled, and the small area of scab within it may have been from my picking last week...

I have booked in with my GP practice but earliest appointment I can get in is 30th August! Can anyone offer an opinion on it, whether I should push for an earlier appointment or is it likely benign.

I'm very fair and a red head, skin cancer is in m family too.

Not easy to comment on photo of this kind but looks harmless to me.

Good to have it looked at, and the date for your appointment is appropriate. Does not look aggressive. How long have you had it?

Doesn't look suspicious but right to get it checked out.

Not what you're looking for?
