My mom has a severe case of Lichen planus. I feel hopeless, horrible, and hopeless that anything will bring her relief. They ,the Dr s have tried all kinds of oral meds, topical ,meds ,light treatment. Its been an on and off thing for 20 years. This time she's been suffering since September. I feel guilty, but I don't want to be around her because I know I can't help. Doed anyone else understand my plight?

Yeah your right. Sometimes it just gets to me. I know she of course would be there for me and has doing other periods of my life nothing to do with sickness, that's just how most families are, ours included, that's why I wish I could take her pain away.
