Over a week now the base of my thumbnail is very itchy as well as the base of my thumb itself, alongside a swelling and a numbness i feel when i touch or caress it, not tingly though. I thought it was an insect bite but it's not, anyone has any idea what this could be please? I'm freaking out, I will go check tomorrow at the dermatologist if they are available due to the lockdown. Please help!
Yes get it checked out asap. Email a photo to GP/dermatologist and they should get back to you pretty fast.
