Any ideas?

I have had this skin irritation/rash on and off over the past 7 years. It is only ever on the front of my shins and clears up completely in between outbreaks. It starts as an itch that if I inadvertently scratch then turns into a few red raised bumps which grows bigger if I scratch more (it's unbelievably itchy) then it slowly clears up over a matter of weeks and disappears until the next time. It can be months between occurrences. My doctor has told me it's eczema but I'm not convinced as it isn't dry. Has anyone else come across this? It's driving me crazy as anything I seem to try cream wise just aggregates a flare up, even steroids. Thanks

Aww thank you, I'll give that a go and see how I get on, without wanting to give any specific products free advertising, if you have any recommendations that would be great otherwise I'll just Google good hydrating creams for atopic dermatitis 😊 thanks again

As it is only on your shins I would suspect an allergic reaction rather than eczema (although it could be that) as eczema would be likely to appear in other areas as well and also respond well to corticosteroid creams.

I am not an MD but I don't think it is eczema. These look more like liquid filled blisters. (Impetigo looking). The doc could maybe do a swab test to find out if it is a recurring virus. Perhaps antivirals might be of help.
