Can anyone help me figure out what this slightly raised red bump is?

Hi there!

I'm new here but would just like some help

I have developed a strange slightly red raised bump in the crook of my neck/chest area

It is at least eight months old as I noticed it a good while ago but it hasn't changed its not bigger or a different colour

It does not itch and it does not bleed

It is not sore unless I poke and prod it

It has never had a head (yellow or white) and it's never leaked fluid or puss

It's just there

not sure if these have any connections but I do have rheumatoid arthritis, joint hyper mobility syndrome, fibromyalgia and chronic costochondaritis

Thank you for any help ☺️ X

I would suggest letting your GP have a wee look when you are attending related to one of your other health condition appts.

Looks as if this could be a skin tag, they form in areas that are rubbed by clothing etc. but as lovesradio said let your GP have a look.

I've got similar red lumps on my neck, I think they are skin tags, but I'm going to check with my doctor x
