will i ever find happiness after having my heart broken and being abused?

i feel i might never return to my normal life after falling in love and being destroyed by this person.

i cant understand why our hearts make such mistakes and get us into so much trouble. god created love but its a verry dangerous emotions when our love is misdirected.
