Hi all,
I came across how to deal with the content of the thoughts, while reading the book.
Hope this helps.
The bibliography is below.
When the thought comes up, allow it to pass by without resisting or fighting it. By watching the thought pass through instead of fighting it, you can learn to deepen your capacity for acceptance and tolerance of the thought.
The fact that you can accept the occurrence of a bad thought does not mean that you approve of its contents.
Don’t pay attention to the content of your obsessive thoughts; detach yourself from their meaning. You accept the thought because you have little choice if you want to free yourself from the suffering it normally brings you. But your acceptance does not endorse the content of the thought or accept it as fact. Remember that your decision to accept it actually drains the thought of its power and intensity.
