bound to be , Some diseases protect against others but sadly MSA does not protect against anything. nor is it associated with gall bladder or cholesterol problems

Hi Degsy60It is strange you ask.... My wife, aged 73 spent last weekend in hospital with severe abdominal pains. She has MSA and it was determined that the cause of the said pain was an enlarged gallbladder and a large gallstone.

They gave her some antibiotics as they felt there was some infection present too within the bile duct.

She had no problems with her gallbladder before and has never had high cholesterol neither.

I don't know of any link but suggest you ask the MSA trust as they are the Oracle when it comes to matters of MSA.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
