Hi, can anyone advise if MSA and Sjogren’s Syndrome are related as my Father had MSA and I have had Sjogren’s for about 12yrs and it is now attacking my lungs causing scarring and am now on oxygen when I move about.

Hello Cyril123,
MSA and Sjogren's are not related; MSA is a progressive neurological condition that doesn't follow in families. Sjogren's is an auto immune condition related to Lupus and Arthritis, usually managed by a Rheumatologist. There is an increased risk if a family member has it.
Kind regards, Samantha.
