I was wondering if anyone else had the experience of their loved one deteriorating significantly post-Covid infection? My dad was walking around still and fairly able to take care of basic things, but then he got Covid and that essentially put him in bed and weakened him significantly. And that was 6 months ago. The doctor did tell us that any setbacks would be difficult to overcome, and all the infections over the past few years have been chipping away at his health, but I am wondering if anyone has had this experience and has any advice? Thank you!

Sadly I can't offer any advice but I have recently had a similar experience. I was admitted to hospital with a blocked bowel. They sorted that problem but gave me a 🎁 of covid then a chest infection. Fast forward 1 month and I can't do a number of things that I was doing b4 I went in. I still have the chest infection and it's really getting me down. Just another way the BEAST has of making even a 'good' day uncomfortable for us.
I'm sure someone will have a helpful suggestion rather than. my moan
Good luck
