I know I haven't been very active on here but mum and I used to regularly check these chats and posts. Even if we didn't respond we would read and she would always ask me how everyone is. Mum sadly passed away on 21/05/2021 with all of us around her. I have finally had a minute to process my grief enough to write this and ensure I say thank you for her. Thank you for being so strong, all of you. Mum never complained once and this is truly a horrible illness to watch your loved one go through, but she went with grace and love. I know how hard it is being a carer and watching what Mum went through, but want everyone to know we are in this together, and will get through it together. We made these last 4 years beautiful and I hope everyone's journey can be as full of love as ours was. The guidance and support in this chat group has been so helpful especially with covid restrictions. I wish everyone good health, happiness and love. Thank you from Mum and I.

Hi Shanie,So sorry to hear of the loss of your Mum. She looks so beautiful and seemed to be a light shining brightly with love. I lost my husband also this year and understand your 4 year journey. I am sure that as a caregiver for your Mum you were giving her the best 4 years she could have. This horrible disease does bring a family together in ways that can't be counted. Being surrounded by love and knowing love is what really counts.
Blessings to you and your family as you now process your grief and loss of your wonderful Mum.
So sorry for your loss as well, sending lots of love, hugs and cuddles your way. My heart hurts for dad losing the love of his life and life partner so I can't imagine your pain x thank you for the kind words and I couldn't have said it better myself!
