Sorry for another post and question my husband has said his ankle and down to just under food hurts and feels like his skin is coming away from his ankle any thoughts so many things going on.

Hello, is there swelling like water retention there too? If so I'd rest it on a cushion for a day and see if it gets better. But if it gets worse and you're worried, call a doctor. If it's not that, I'd try phoning an MSA nurse on Monday. We have an arrangement with the neurologist that we can call their secretary if new or concerning symptoms arise, and they will call back. Not sure if you could get that too? Sorry that's all I can think of. Best of luck, hang in there! Kx

No we hardly hear from his neurologist wonder how interested he is now we have diagnosis peter gets several weird feeling about his body but he has no swelling Thankyou for your input I have to see how it goes.

I remember before my husband was actually diagnosed with MSA-C, the heals of his feet hurt him so bad. We thought he had plantar fasciitis. Gradually with orthotics it got better, but that was replaced with everything else. Sorry, not help, but for him it eventually passed.

I know seems as 1 pain subside another takes over guess we all just struggle through but but if self pity would love to have a good night sleep and actually wake up refreshed.

my husband had pain in his foot at night. So bad it kept waking him up. I then had to push his leg off the bed so it was hanging off and then we both went back to sleep! No idea what it was and I am sure in due time it would have been something else, but we did try just a single ibuprofen 400 at bedtime and that improved his night time pain. That foot pain was never too bad during the day. Hope this helps.

Peter seem worse in bed just doesn’t seem a reason so obviously something going on but will we ever know what Thankyou for your response.
